Why is quality important? Firstly, quality in design forms an integral part of our process. We ensure that the design realizes the client’s vision as well as conforming to the regularity requirements for a quality build. However, what is the point of a beautiful design if we can’t install it? How do we ensure quality in glass wall design standards are met? Our design team utilizes several tools and procedures to guarantee the quality of our glass wall designs. For instance, programmes such as Revit and Navisworks for BIM allow us to identify potential clashes and resolve complex interfaces at the design stage. This reduces the onsite issues which can lead to programme delays. We work closely with architects and designers from pre-contracts stages to establish the project requirements. This ensures that everyone involved specifies the correct products. Bespoke glass wall solutions are our standard at PurOptima. Our design teams Working together our designers utilize the wealth of experience within the team to make sure the drawings and models produced are accurate. Specifically, all the drawings are thoroughly checked by a member of the senior design team. These drawings are also reviewed by the Project Delivery teams prior to being issued externally. This accounts for any site access restrictions and installation considerations. Our design team constantly expands their skills to keep pace with developments within the industry and therefore keep quality in design. We attend supplier open days, seminars and new software training courses to ensure we are at the cutting edge of the glass wall partitioning industry. Finally, our Project Delivery Partners liaise regularly with our manufacturing product design team which allows us to make certain that we successfully manufacture and install any non-standard requirements.
