Office glass partitions for an award-winning company

An impressive and collaborative office space was key for this award-winning company. To that end, their brief to HOK was to merge and modernise three existing offices into a 30,000 sq ft space. As a result, increasing unity and connectivity among their employees.

HOK’s design concept emerged from a thoughtful consideration of the client’s brief and core values. Initially, the essence of the brief was to deliver a bold new space in which OpenText’s professionals from multiple functions could connect. For that reason, glass office partitions were chosen to deliver this collaborative space, combining open plan and private meeting spaces.

Best of all, the new interior enables light and energy to naturally flow past project feature areas. The addition of natural light, in turn promotes employee well-being and health. Moreover, the stunning design, with it’s unique take on the Shoreditch Edition manifestation, promotes a creative atmosphere. The open plan workspaces are linked and intersected by formal meeting areas and open collaboration spaces, therefore allowing both planned and spontaneous connections. Since the nature of work today is about knowledge sharing and human interaction, it’s understandable why collaborative spaces play such a significant role in OpenText’s fit-out.

Understandably, the eye is always drawn to something new. With this concept in mind, our work aligned closely to HOK’s vision. In short, it’s the individual take on classic products that give this fit-out such personality. Specifically the Shoreditch Edition banding on the meeting rooms.

Innovate design at it’s best

Additionally, furniture pairings enhanced the overall aesthetic and ergonomics of the fit-out. Statement pieces, such as portable Bob stools in collaboration pods, and the rhyming lattice-effect chair-backs, create a unique look. Furthermore, the typical HOK attention to detail flows through into each client space, media wall and individual meeting rooms.

In conclusion, Anouschka Walker, Senior Interior Designer at HOK said, “The client has received a unique space that fits their brand; enables their work, and helps their staff and customers innovate and perform.”
