Henry J Lyons design specified a high level of acoustic privacy in some of the areas. As a result, with a rating of up to Rw45dB, Revolution 54 curved glass partitions were an excellent choice. Especially, the 12.8mm acoustic laminate glass in 2 layers offers privacy where needed. Consequently, this gives the offices excellent acoustic performance, aesthetic appeal and creates a natural flow throughout the office space. It is often important to provide some private areas in an open plan design and these curved glass partitions offer the perfect solution.
The doors comprise of Edge Affinity single glazed doors with standard ironmongery. In addition, some of the glass partitions incorporate Revolution 54 Shoreditch Edition with these doors. The partitions give the impression of a modern minimalist look but in fact the “individual” panes of glass are one continuous run. This gives the maximum acoustic benefit as well as complementing the design perfectly.
Equally important, the interior palette consisted of minimal colours, materials and finishes to create a high end, luxurious open office space for their team of 80 staff members. The natural materials, particularly the use of wood in the design add to the warm feel of the space.
