Opposite the scenic Fitzroy Gardens is 5 Fitzroy Place. This building now hosts Bakkavor’s new London headquarters. The company, which specialises in freshly prepared food, now has an office to be proud of. Working collaboratively with BW: Workplace Experts (main contractors) and TP Bennett (architects) we installed our glazed partitions to offices, meeting rooms and to the state-of-the-art kitchen area.

An effective and popular use of Optima 117 Plus these sleek partitions form clever half-height screens. That is, they are Installed into a half-height wall, decorated with wooden panels, Optima 117 Plus provides a view into the stunning kitchen area. The discreet dry joints of this glazed partition make Optima 117 Plus seem frameless, giving an additional layer of elegance in the design. In addition, the glazed partitions follow the right-angle of the panel lined wall, sectioning off the kitchen with a good level of acoustic reduction.
Initially, when following the space around, you pass through the Kinetic Seal door. The Kinetic Seal is chic and a great piece of design ingenuity as it can slide into a drywall pocket, giving a great aesthetic when open and closed. Moreover, we manufacture the Kinetic Seal door with 10mm heat-soaked toughened glass making it durable and light. The sliding mechanism is swift and easy due to the intelligent, robust head track giving optimised support to the door.
For instance, keeping the flow of the room, we installed Optima 117 Plus glazed partitions between the columns. Specifically, this partition is a means of keeping a consistent flow of light in the seating area, no matter what the time of day.
Another hallway boasts the sleek Optima 117 Plus glazed partition in its full-sized form. In fact, almost frameless in design, the partition cascades light into the hallway and illuminates the white fixtures with natural light. This gives a beautifully warm transition between rooms.
The timber-lined boardroom is attractive and light, with white fixtures used to contrast the light wood panels and flooring. As well, the non-rebated Edge Symmetry double glazed double door set provides a sleek entrance into the modern boardroom. The non-rebated aspect of the door provides a smooth aesthetic, whilst the practicality of the Edge Symmetry ensures an additional acoustic rating when double glazed.
Similarly, the smaller meeting rooms and offices are split off from the open plan area with Kinetic Seal doors with side screens. The Kinetic system works effectively in space saving, removing the need for a swing arc from a conventional pivoting door. Best of all, this works in allowing optimal space within the offices.
In addition to being a means of optimising space, the Kinetic Seal door gives the office a sleek aesthetic, with the door/partitions stylish minimal frames.
