Providing CMS with double glazed office solutions

Firstly, we created meeting rooms and quiet rooms/telephone booths in the center of the working space. This allowed an area for focussed work in close proximity to the open-plan working environment. The client specified high acoustic ratings, therefore, this was a key consideration. 

With acoustic privacy and cost issues in mind, KKS/MCM architecture specified the Optima 117 Plus system. Working within budget and achieving a good level of acoustic performance, this was an excellent choice. In addition to providing acoustic privacy, Optima 117 Plus is an elegant single glazed system with the minimal framework and discreet glass to glass joints. Furthermore, the Optima 117 Plus can accommodate a range of glass thicknesses, in order to achieve the right balance between cost and acoustic performance.

Client floors

However, on the client floors, the architects specified double glazed partitions. The Revolution 100 system allowed for improved acoustic performance. Revolution 100 was the ideal choice due to the partitions beautiful mullion-free design. This partition also uses minimal vertical dry joints between the glass panels. Furthermore, you can specify Revolution 100 as a single or double glazed partition to suit your acoustic needs.

Social areas

We installed our Kinetic Aero sliding doors into the breakout area which works effectively separating the hallways from the bright seating area. The Kinetic Aero sliding door is a great choice due to its sleek and attractive design. The sliding doors provide high visibility, also allowing light to flow into the hallway. Mixing style with convenience, these bi-parting doors control traffic in and out of the room, whilst giving a sleek overall finish.

Optima 117 Plus Shoreditch Edition was also installed into the café area. This style of partition is at the forefront of design with Shoreditch aluminium bands creating a stunning hatch effect on the Optima 117 Plus partition. This modern design suits the café area, creating a light-hearted environment only finished by our bespoke Axile Pulse door Shoreditch Edition.

In conclusion, throughout this project, we were continually striving to ensure the end result is a stunning, light and contemporary space with clean lines and sophisticated colours.
